Monica Jasmine

About Me

Monica has been dancing and competing competitively for over 20 years in styles ranging from Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Hip Hop. At the age of 18 Monica became a professional cheerleader for the Oakland Raiderettes where she continued with the team for 4 consecutive years. While on the Raiderettes Monica was selected as Co - Captain and Captain and was fortunate enough to perform in London as a second year vet, promoting NFL International Series where she performed with Def Leppard and Mexico City her fourth season, promoting NFL Mexico.

Monica not only has the love to perform but has the love to teach others and watch them grow as not only dancers but people. Monica is a full time Dance Instructor and Assistant Director at Michelle’s Dance X-Plosion where she has won many Regional and National Titles and Choreography awards. Monica specializes in Jazz Technique, Jazz, Tap and Lyrical and teaches kids ranging from the ages of 3-18 years old.

Monica has done work for brands such as Otterbox, Salesforce, AAA, Major League Baseball, Wells Fargo and has also been featured in Dance Spirit Magazine.

Aside from dance, Monica is a mom and a wife and loves to hang out with her family. She has a huge passion for creativity and is truly passionate about what she does. She cannot wait to be a part of your dance journey and future!
